Combine the taste with the imagination to make a fantastic birthday cake to decorate with many colorful butterflies. Cover your cake with royal icing, perfect also in summer to realize cakes perfectly decorated.
Melt the butter and the chocolate disc in microwave or at bain-marie over low heat. You can use also the common chocolate eggs that we commonly preserve in our homes after Easter.
Mix meanwhile the egg whites with sugar until you get a foamy consistency. Then add the yolks egg and incorporates the butter and chocolate previously dissolved: blend it with a spatula making a circular movement from the bottom upwards. Place a stainless steel circular shape on a sheet of parchment paper and pour into the mixture. Bake it at 180 ° for about 5-10 °.
Since the dough is without yeast, the sponge will not grow so much. Therefore you will need to prepare two sponge cakes for each cake floor.
Once cooled, assemble the cake, filling it with a spreadable cream to choose from one of our range and cover it with royal icing which is suitable also in summer. Let it dry for at least an hour.

With a disposable pastry bag and a croissant #2 follow the butterflies outlines using some royal icing which you can color at will with some coloring gel. Let them dry until they are completely dry. Often more than two days of drying time are required
