Halloween, the scariest event of the year: this is how to make a delicious scratched effect cake.
Start by preparing the coffee sponge cake. Whip the eggs and Sugar, add the Concentrated Flavoring Paste, salt, and finally the sifted flour, Cream of Tartar and bicarbonate. Pour the mixture into the ø 25×10 h cm baking pan and put it in the oven at 170°C for about 40 minutes. Proceed with the chocolate sponge cake: Whip the butter with Extra Fine Sugar until getting a soft and foamy mixture. Add the yolks and gradually the Chocolate. Mix well and add the sifted flour, baking powder and Cream of Tartar. On the side, whip the egg whites and sugar and add them gently to the mixture together with the Flavor. Pour the mixtures into 2 ø 20 and 15×10 h cm baking pans, and put them in the oven at 160°C for about 1 hour. Assemble the cake by alternating the color of the sponge and fill the layers with the whipped cream. Cover the cake with the Sugar Paste and make crosscuts with the Multi-Purpose Knife. Fill the created slits with the Decorpenna and complete the decoration with the Red Coloring.
