How to create a cute little bear holding a bouquet of heart-shaped chocolates, perfect for any romantic cakes!
Mold the white sugar paste, until it’ll be soft and pliable. Take the amount of fondant you want for the teddy’s body and knead it with your hands so as to obtain a slightly elongated shape. Using the Cone/Cutter Tool, achieve some faint streaks in order to have a realistic touch. Take some more fondant and make four balls of 30 g to carry out the bear’s legs and arms. Roll them into cylinders and helping with the index, stretch them from one side so that one part remains higher than the other. Start by smoothing the end with your fingers. Then form the paws by gently pinching the end. Let’s prepare the bear’s head working a little ball of approximately 50 g, making the same striations of the body. Get the ears, creating two small balls of sugar paste slightly pressed in the center with the Small Ball Tool. You can use the black sugar paste to make the teddy bear’s eyes and finally with a slightly flattened white sugar paste ball, you can make the nose. With the Cone/Cutter Tool carve a line in the middle of the nose and with the Small Ball Tool realize the mouth. Let’s assemble now all the obtained pieces using some edible glue and have fun to decorate your bear with original details. The Decortwist could help you to make the teddy bear’s scarf and the heart-shaped ready-to-use sugar decorations will give at your bear a romantic touch.
