Cream the butter with the sugar at room temperature. Add the egg, Flavoring, salt and finally the sifted flour. Mix it all together well. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it in the fridge for almost an hour. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, cut out shapes with the pastry cutter and put it in the oven at 175° C for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.
