Step 1

Quickly work the butter at room temperature with the sugar, add the eggs and finally the flour. Knead until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Make a rectangular dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for at least an hour.
Roll out the dough and cut out the shapes with the butterfly cutter; you can make a small hole with a toothpick so you can insert tape, so as to make your creations unique. Bake for 10/12 minutes at 170 °. Decora with the sugar paste of the desired color and the royal icing.
