Chocolate tree made with the 3D mold

Step 1

In a bowl, roughly crumble the dry biscuits. Separately, melt the dark chocolate in a water bath (or in the microwave) and let it cool. Add the icing sugar, dark chocolate powder, melted dark chocolate, soft butter, chopped almonds and chopped hazelnuts, vanilla extract, liqueur and milk to the previously crumbled biscuits.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, if you need to add a few more drops of milk, the crumbs must be evenly distributed.

Step 3

Use the special tree-shaped mold and fill from above with the prepared mixture by pressing well. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Step 4

After the indicated time, resume the mold, open it from the sides and, with a light pressure of the hand, detach and gently place the tree on a riser or work surface.

Step 5

With a spatula remove the excess from the sides and finish the edges well by smoothing.

Step 6

Meanwhile prepare the royal icing, in a bowl put 75 g of icing and beat with 15 ml of cold water, for an average consistency, suitable for decorations. Transfer the royal icing to the bag with adapter cornet.

Step 7

Sprinkle the tree by dropping the royal icing around giving the snow effect. Decora the tree garnished with poinsettias and sugar holly.
