Hazelnut and chocolate cupcake

Step 1

Pour all the liquid ingredients into a bowl: the milk, the eggs at room temperature and the butter melted in a bain-marie and left to cool. In another bowl combine the dry ingredients: the sifted flour with the baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt. Pour the liquid ingredients into the flour bowl and work the dough with an electric mixer for a few minutes until you get a smooth and lump-free mixture. Pour the dough into the cups with the help of the pastry bag. Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and add them to the surface with a few drops of milk chocolate.

Step 2

Bake in a static oven for 25 minutes at 180 °. Let the cupcakes cool and in the meantime prepare the chocolate frosting cream. In a saucepan, heat the cream without boiling it, remove it from the heat and add the butter. Coarsely chop the chocolate and add it to the cream. Stir until it forms a smooth chocolate cream. Leave to cool then whisk the mixture with the electric whisk. Transfer the frosting to a pastry bag with the star-shaped croissant and form a curl on the cupcake. Finally add the decorations of sugar forest animals.
