Step 1

Start by preparing the sponge cake; mix the eggs with the sugar and finally add the flour. Pour the mixture into the pasta-molds, previously buttered and floured. Bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.

Step 2

Prepare the custard. Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Mix the yolks with the sugar and cornstarch; add them to the boiling milk and bring to the boil again. When the cream is thick, turn off the heat and add the pasta to the strawberries. Pour it into a low and wide bowl and cover it with the cling film in contact so that the annoying crust is not created. Let it cool down.

Step 3

Cut the sponge cakes in half, wet them by diluting the Alkermes with the water and fill them with the custard. Finally, prepare the covering by mixing the water with the Dark Sugar and the Strawberry Paste; pour it on the sponge cake and complete the decoraing with some Strawberries.
