#Face MasksCocoa
to celebrate Carnival in the kitchen!

Step 1

Sift the flour in a bowl, add the cocoa, chocolate powder, sugar and finally the butter into small pieces and at room temperature. With your fingertips or in the mixer, knead the dough until you have a sandy consistency. Finally add the egg and the vanilla flavoring drops: knead until you adopt a smooth pastry working it by hand on the pastry board: the heat of the palms will make the dough compact. Wrap the pasta thus obtained with plastic wrap and let it rest for at least an hour in a cool place.

Step 2

After this time, turn on the oven at 180 ° C, divide the dough into 4 loaves. Roll them out with a rolling pin directly onto the parchment paper about 2 mm thick. Crop with the mask cutters.

Step 3

Remove the little eyes and transfer the masks to a pan covered with a sheet of baking paper.

Step 4

Proceed like this until the dough is used up. Bake in a hot oven for about 8 minutes about 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool in a cool place for a couple of hours.

Step 5

Prepare the decoration by placing the white chocolate disks in a saucepan in a water bath. Dissolve everything by mixing with a spoon. In a few minutes you will get a creamy consistency. Transfer the white chocolate cream to the disposable pastry bag with a smooth croissant n.2. Decora the fancy masks: create a thin strip of chocolate along the edges and sprinkle them with pink sugar crystals and sugar beads. Gently shake them decoraexcesses.

Step 6

Let cool well without overlapping, then serve the masks with tea or coffee.
