Dissolve the yeast and sugar in half a cup of milk and leave aside for about 10 minutes. Pour the sifted flour onto a work surface and add the mashed potatoes, salt, chopped chives and cherry tomatoes. Add the yeast, the remaining quantity of milk and knead carefully until the ingredients are perfectly mixed and the dough is soft and elastic. Add more flour if necessary. Place the dough in a bowl previously greased with oil and let it rise for about 2 hours. Knead the dough again for a few minutes and divide it into 6 balls of equal size.
Place them next to each other in the special Angel Food Mold in order to obtain the shape of a flower. Let it rise for about 45 minutes. Brush the surface with a beaten egg and decora with pumpkin seeds. Bake for 15 minutes at 210 ° C, lower the temperature to 180 ° C and cook for another 20 minutes. Turn the mold upside down and let it cool until the shape comes off falling down. Use a spatula to make the donut more easily.
