the classic recipe for the red velvet cake

Step 1

Whip the butter at room temperature with half the sugar until you get a white and frothy cream. Add the rest of the sugar, eggs, flavor, salt, dye and mix well. Add the buttermilk alternating it with the sifted flour and whisk at low speed to obtain a homogeneous mixture. In a small bowl add the baking soda and vinegar, mix quickly and add to the dough. Pour the mixture into the mold of ø 20 × 7,5 h cm, previously oiled with the Staccante Spray and cook at 170 ° C for about 30 minutes. Stuff with whipped cream and decora with fresh fruit.
